I wanted a good grinder for my Newco OCS-8 Coffee maker. For the price, this grinder is a perfect match for my Newco! Much quieter than the old 30 dollar bean crusher that it replaced, and the black body matches my Newco perfectly...
Plus.. 2 day delivery with a phone order.. AMAZING!
Thanks 1st-Line!

I have two of these grinders. They are wonderful for grinds of fine to coarse: even grind, very little static, small size, and surprisingly quiet. But I disagree with the review that says they are appropriate for espresso. At the very beginning, one of them produced a fine enough grind for my Giotto, but after a few weeks, it could no longer match it. It's an excellent home grinder, but it does not have the tolerances and build for espresso. You have to move up to a Bezzera, Rocky, Mazzer, or similar.

Clearly this is not a professional or even semi pro grinder. But for less than a hundred bucks it's one of the better values in conical burr grinders. If you're not making espresso this will do the job well for drip and presspot coffees. It's on the noisy side, but again, it's to be expected in this price range. The end result is what's important, though, and the coffee is good.

I didn't have hundreds of dollars to spend on a grinder for my new espresso machine (Solis SL70). After much research I narrowed it down to two, and chose this one. I think that it is the only grinder in this price range which can be really be used for espresso. The Infinity works well for espresso, and also for regular coffee, this is important in my house where not everyone drinks espresso, lattes, etc.
The only fussy thing about this grinder is the tendency for it to clog at the top of the chute. I think that this is a common occurence with most grinders, and the included brush easily clears the backup.
