	Worked as advertised, good quality. Check if you need this if your ordering a new machine, my Bezzera came with one, but I didn't know it, so I ordered this one. A good choice if you need one.

	I bought this to clean my Silvia and was a bit worried. When I put in this portafilter it fit like a glove and with a few clicks Silvia was clean!! Make sure you buy the cleaner 1st cup has you get instructions to clean your machine that is very easy to follow. Thank you 1st cup!!

	Backflushing is as important as grinding your coff	10/18/2006

	If you don't backflush at least daily with fresh clean water and then at least weekly with espresso cleaner in your handle with a blind filter, you will always be adding old burnt coffee grounds to your new shots. The coffee residue left up in the group head gets flushed down into your new coffee to be extracted. Taste the difference after a clean!!

	Perfect fit for the Silvia portafilter. I was a bit reluctant to do backflushing on my Silvia. Turned out using very quick cycles of the pump produced great results. The stress it appears to put on the pump is no more than having an overfilled basket that stalls. And nothing seems to improve the quality of the espresso as a good machine cleaning (including CleanCaf and an equipment soak in Urnex Espresso Cleaner).
